“I am sitting in a theater” is part of a series of works using a “pirated” copy of Transformers 2 as it’s foundation. In this piece the work of Alvin Lucier provided inspiration as the film was burned to DVD and re-filmed off of a computer screen multiple times until it is no longer recognizable as the original film.
